In the 18th minute Marco Ostargi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Can Keep saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 18 played minutes Durian FC got a freekick which was hit by Rayana Bahalwan. If Baltasar Marquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Durian FC's Egi Asmawan got a free kick in the 21st minute. Can Keep made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesar Aurken in the 27th minute of play. Celso Oto was out of position in the 28 minute of play, and M. Andik Sumadipraja capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. M. Andik Sumadipraja really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isaias Rafe during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Durian FC booed when GUSESI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaias Rafe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Celso Oto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Syamsul Rinaldi in the 41st minute of the match. The supporters of Durian FC booed when GUSESI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ubaldo Efraim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Celso Oto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dasep Latul in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dasep Latul to make the kick off. Kevin Keegan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 52nd match minute, Durian FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romi Waskito to maneuver through the defense. Durian FC's Can Keep proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Durian FC from getting a goal against them. Celso Oto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Syamsul Rinaldi, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. After 64 played minutes GUSESI got a freekick which was hit by Marco Ostargi. After a defensive mix-up in Durian FC's zone, Cesar Aurken stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Can Keep came out of the goal and Cesar Aurken tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Syamsul Rinaldi in the 71st minute of play forced GUSESI's goalkeeper Celso Oto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to GUSESI getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Baltasar Marquez hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Durian FC's Egi Asmawan got a free kick in the 79th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Baltasar Marquez dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Can Keep, 1-1. In the 85th minute, Baltasar Marquez fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 87 minutes into the match, Durian FC's goal looked a bit too open when Baltasar Marquez came free, but Can Keep reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. GUSESI's Kevin Keegan got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dasep Latul's late challenge caught a GUSESI's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dasep Latul helped the player get up and apologised. Dasep Latul hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. GUSESI's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
