The referee ignored Koffe Boys's protests and gave Adam Stenqvist a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Koffe Boys getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. In the 17th minute of the match, Ola Lundqvist tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fernan Ibon saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Filomeno Fiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Rune Walroth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Gustavo Galindo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rune Walroth didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gustavo Galindo went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Gustavo Galindo struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Rune Walroth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Candelaria FC. Koffe Boys's Rune Walroth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roman Barros in the 46th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Johan Uter managed to get in a good position for a shot. Koffe Boys's supporters rose to their feet, but Johan Uter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernan Ibon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ola Lundqvist was the one to do the kick off. Fernan Ibon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ola Lundqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernan Ibon having to interfere. In the 94th minute Ola Lundqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernan Ibon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
