Spectators: 7496 (Terracing: 5623, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 149) Icoara Football Club's Caetano Monteiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Icoara Football Club from getting a goal against them. Caetano Monteiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nunez Gartzea in the 6th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustavo Galindo got free with Caetano Monteiro in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Caetano Monteiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Galindo in the 12th minute of the match. Luizão Paraíba scored 0-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fernan Ibon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Matías Ceresso hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Nunez Gartzea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Caetano Monteiro was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. The supporters of Candelaria FC booed when Icoara Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabrício Rosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Caetano Monteiro came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Candelaria FC's Gustavo Galindo. But to his dismay, Gustavo Galindo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. If Fabrício Rosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the match, Icoara Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Guido Koldobika came free, but Caetano Monteiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Gustavo Galindo took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Caetano Monteiro to make any attempt to save it. After having played for 46 minutes, Gustavo Galindo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Candelaria FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustavo Galindo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gustavo Galindo to strike the kick off in the second half. If Fabrício Rosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the game, Candelaria FC's Guido Koldobika nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Caetano Monteiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Gustavo Galindo took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Caetano Monteiro. Caetano Monteiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Caetano Monteiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roman Barros in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 73rd minute Gustavo Galindo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caetano Monteiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Icoara Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Guido Koldobika came free, but Caetano Monteiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Roman Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Candelaria FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Roman Barros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Caetano Monteiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Icoara Football Club's Caetano Monteiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Koldobika in the 80th minute of play. When Guido Koldobika came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Candelaria FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guido Koldobika couldn't finish the play. After having played for 86 minutes, Roman Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Candelaria FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roman Barros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Candelaria FC fully deserved thier win.
