Ladislao Endira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yeray Lisperguer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Talcampeón FC booed when Ascacibar-Pérez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Figueroa didn't get a good kick on the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Pedro Frascuelo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Talcampeón FC's Rutenio Poveda. Rutenio Poveda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Pedro Frascuelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 15 minutes into the game, Ascacibar-Pérez's Marcelino Montay nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rutenio Poveda made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After a rather tough play, Talcampeón FC's Ofelio Bórquez got a free kick in the 27th minute. Elias Figueroa scored 0-3 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rutenio Poveda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marcelino Montay struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Rutenio Poveda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ascacibar-Pérez. In the 35th minute Pedro Frascuelo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rutenio Poveda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rutenio Poveda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquin Izel, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Ladislao Endira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yeray Lisperguer went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Rutenio Poveda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Frascuelo in the 45th minute of the match. After the first half Ascacibar-Pérez were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yeray Lisperguer to make the kick off. Pedro Frascuelo in the 52ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rutenio Poveda, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, Talcampeón FC's Liberto Henson got a free kick in the 55th minute. Ladislao Endira came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Talcampeón FC's Cosme Mella. But to his dismay, Cosme Mella quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. After some careless play in the Talcampeón FC defense, Pedro Frascuelo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rutenio Poveda. The Talcampeón FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rutenio Poveda should have stopped the shot. Elias Figueroa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th match minute, Talcampeón FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alonso Bacciarini to maneuver through the defense. Ladislao Endira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yeray Lisperguer in the 85th minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, Talcampeón FC's goalkeeper Rutenio Poveda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedro Frascuelo. After having played for 88 minutes, Pedro Frascuelo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ascacibar-Pérez's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Frascuelo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Talcampeón FC's Rutenio Poveda got control of the ball when Pedro Frascuelo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ladislao Endira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Francisco Maffey, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. 95 minutes into the match, Yeray Lisperguer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ladislao Endira. Ascacibar-Pérez's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yeray Lisperguer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-6. When the match was over Ascacibar-Pérez could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Talcampeón FC throughout the match.
