Björkö BK were furious when Malcolm Gustafsson was red carded, 6 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 5 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Björkö BK! Allan Pihl had in the 8thth minute some difficulties stopping Simão Koehler's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Allan Pihl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narciso Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Allan Pihl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narciso Azevedo in the 11th minute of the match. Narciso Azevedo scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Allan Pihl, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 26 played minutes Björkö BK got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Gadd. Allan Pihl stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Raul Gonçalves's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raul Gonçalves in the 34th minute of play forced Björkö BK's goalkeeper Allan Pihl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Björkö BK's Allan Pihl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raul Gonçalves in the 36th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Freddie Vestberg reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Vitinho Fontes. The goal made the score 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

52 minutes into the game, Narciso Azevedo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Família Ressaca MZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Björkö BK the free kick. In the 52nd minute, Narciso Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 56 minutes into the game, Raul Gonçalves cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Allan Pihl was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Allan Pihl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celsinho Vidal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Narciso Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Björkö BK's Allan Pihl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raul Gonçalves in the 65th minute of play. In the 66th minute, Narciso Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ulf Larsson hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Allan Pihl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raul Gonçalves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vitinho Fontes came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Björkö BK's Ulf Larsson. But to his dismay, Ulf Larsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 84th minute, Família Ressaca MZ's Narciso Azevedo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Allan Pihl. Allan Pihl yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raul Gonçalves got free with Allan Pihl in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 91st minute Narciso Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allan Pihl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Björkö BK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Família Ressaca MZ were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
