Pablo Cordeal charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pablo Cordeal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Raul Gonçalves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Emiliano Sancho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Celsinho Vidal fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Família Ressaca MZ's protests and gave Celsinho Vidal a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Família Ressaca MZ's Celsinho Vidal got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 66th minute of the match Nereo Abad sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vitinho Fontes skillfully saved the ball. Enrique Sagrario hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Fernando Maciel might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emiliano Sancho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fernando Maciel ran back to his position shaking his head. Emiliano Sancho made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Fernando Maciel sent off a good shot on target. In the 77th minute, Pablo Cordeal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emiliano Sancho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raul Gonçalves in the 78th minute. Manfredi AFC's Emiliano Sancho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Azevedo in the 82nd minute of play. Jose Iyan charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jose Iyan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 91 played minutes Manfredi AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jose Iyan. Pablo Cordeal kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Família Ressaca MZ left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Manfredi AFC.
