The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Belfegor FC's Benjamin Oroitz got control of the ball when Efrain Ribeiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 9 played minutes ★ Lobos FC ★ got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Barreto. Erick Fernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amado Oskitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Claudio Bentos hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After 24 played minutes ★ Lobos FC ★ got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Bentos. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fidel Mondragon in the 28th minute of play forced Belfegor FC's goalkeeper Benjamin Oroitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Alvarez got free with Benjamin Oroitz in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gogo Selmo in the 35th minute of play forced ★ Lobos FC ★'s goalkeeper Erick Fernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 36 minutes, Fidel Mondragon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ★ Lobos FC ★'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Fidel Mondragon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Belfegor FC's Benjamin Oroitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fidel Mondragon in the 43rd minute of play. Benjamin Oroitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Alvarez in the 45th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gogo Selmo to make the kick off. Benjamin Oroitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Alvarez in the 51st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mariano Alvarez in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benjamin Oroitz saved Belfegor FC from getting behind. Benjamin Oroitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Efrain Ribeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 57th minute, Lucas Orbán got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Belfegor FC's Lucas Ponciano was substituted for Ernesto Modestio. Belfegor FC's Faustino Dei was substituted for Feliciano Baristo. A collision led to ★ Lobos FC ★ getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Efrain Ribeiro hit a great ball. In the 68th minute, Cesar Oporto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in ★ Lobos FC ★'s zone, Amado Oskitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erick Fernandez came out of the goal and Amado Oskitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 71st match minute, ★ Lobos FC ★ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efrain Ribeiro to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Belfegor FC booed when ★ Lobos FC ★ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Ribeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mariano Olando's late challenge caught a ★ Lobos FC ★'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mariano Olando helped the player get up and apologised. In the 81st match minute, Belfegor FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariano Olando to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute, Mariano Olando left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Belfegor FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. When Faustino Dei came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Belfegor FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Faustino Dei couldn't finish the play. After 92 minutes of play, Belfegor FC's Faustino Dei made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erick Fernandez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Belfegor FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
