The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Fenerbahçe's Nejat Küdüs got control of the ball when Cezary Tscherner tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Queens of Lublin's Hieronim Mietus got a free kick in the 51st minute. The audience was convinced that Alfred Falkiewicz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nejat Küdüs was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfred Falkiewicz in the 88th minute of play forced Fenerbahçe's goalkeeper Nejat Küdüs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Queens of Lublin's Hieronim Mietus got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 93 minutes into the match, Fenerbahçe's goal looked a bit too open when Witomir Mierzejewski came free, but Nejat Küdüs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Queens of Lublin had won after a very even match.
