Spectators: 7472 (Terracing: 5605, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 149) Dave Falcioni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waclaw Walczak in the 4th minute of the match. In the 6th match minute, Pogoń Stawiszyn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radoslaw Gdowik to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Pogoń Stawiszyn defense, Aurelio Belardi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Korneliusz Fujara. The Pogoń Stawiszyn fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Korneliusz Fujara should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Anthony Pietrantoni put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Korneliusz Fujara. In the 25th minute Donato Porcu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Korneliusz Fujara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Korneliusz Fujara came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Burnley FC's Aurelio Belardi. But to his dismay, Aurelio Belardi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Burnley FC's Dave Falcioni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Sedzikowski in the 29th minute of play. Waclaw Walczak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 40 minutes into the game, Pogoń Stawiszyn's Roman Lizewski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dave Falcioni made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Dave Falcioni made an important save on a dangerous shot by Radoslaw Gdowik in the 44th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anthony Pietrantoni made a kick off. 56 minutes into the game, Pogoń Stawiszyn's Roman Lizewski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dave Falcioni made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. Korneliusz Fujara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anthony Pietrantoni in the 62nd minute of the match. Edmund Beninda kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the game, Burnley FC's Aldo Catini nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Korneliusz Fujara made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-5. Korneliusz Fujara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldo Catini in the 75th minute of play. Dave Falcioni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waclaw Walczak in the 76th minute of the match. Korneliusz Fujara made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Anthony Pietrantoni sent off a good shot on target. 86 minutes into the game, Anthony Pietrantoni recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Korneliusz Fujara. Anthony Pietrantoni showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anthony Pietrantoni in the 89th minute of play forced Pogoń Stawiszyn's goalkeeper Korneliusz Fujara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Korneliusz Fujara made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Alvise Carnevale sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Anthony Pietrantoni managed to get in a good position for a shot. Burnley FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Anthony Pietrantoni was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Korneliusz Fujara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Korneliusz Fujara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Belardi in the 96th minute of play. When Daniel Sedzikowski fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pogoń Stawiszyn's protests and gave Daniel Sedzikowski a yellow card for diving instead. Burnley FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
