Iker Darien came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Stat Veritas FC's Clodoveo Ellande. But to his dismay, Clodoveo Ellande quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Joel Libertad might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Silvestre Fernandez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joel Libertad ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 18th match minute, Stat Veritas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Venancio Lop to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcelo Elia during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Stat Veritas FC booed when Tiburones Rojos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Elia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stat Veritas FC's Silvestre Fernandez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Stat Veritas FC from getting a goal against them. Guillermo Bras charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guillermo Bras the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Stat Veritas FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Manuel Guipuzkoa charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manuel Guipuzkoa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Tiburones Rojos getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Manuel Guipuzkoa hit a great ball. Clodoveo Ellande fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iker Darien having to interfere. Iker Darien stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Clodoveo Ellande's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. The Tiburones Rojos players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Stat Veritas FC were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Clodoveo Ellande made a kick off. The nice shot from Clodoveo Ellande in the 52ndth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Iker Darien had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. 59 minutes into the match, Julian Adrio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iker Darien. Tiburones Rojos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julian Adrio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After a rather tough play, Tiburones Rojos's Maximino Vellito got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 75th minute, Marcelo Elia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 87th minute, Humberto Maore got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ramon Gora sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Joel Libertad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvestre Fernandez having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Stat Veritas FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
