Spectators: 7449 (Terracing: 5624, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Anthony Pietrantoni started the match with the kick off. ReyPoxo's Quinton Pais proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save ReyPoxo from getting a goal against them. Through an outstanding action, after 9 minutes, Quinton Pais successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 11th match minute, Burnley FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelio Belardi to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute, Fausto Rapado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dave Falcioni was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 17 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for ReyPoxo! In the 19th minute, Burnley FC got a penalty, and Anthony Pietrantoni placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. Quinton Pais took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anthony Pietrantoni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Quinton Pais successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. ReyPoxo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Anthony Pietrantoni scored to the left of an out of position Quinton Pais, making the score, 2-1. Quinton Pais showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anthony Pietrantoni in the 31st minute of the match. Antonello Pocobello took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Quinton Pais. Quinton Pais dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Quinton Pais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ercole Limitone, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Alfredo Felice kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Xicu Teruel struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Dave Falcioni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ReyPoxo. If Xicu Teruel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaitano Noya hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Xicu Teruel to make the kick off. Quinton Pais showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ercole Limitone in the 53rd minute of the match. Quinton Pais didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ercole Limitone went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Aldo Catini's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Quinton Pais read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in ReyPoxo's zone, Aldo Catini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Quinton Pais came out of the goal and Aldo Catini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. ReyPoxo's Rubio Solo got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 69 minutes into the match, Ercole Limitone notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of ReyPoxo's Quinton Pais. Quinton Pais was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anthony Pietrantoni in the 82nd minute of play forced ReyPoxo's goalkeeper Quinton Pais to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute, Ireno Arratia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th match minute, ReyPoxo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaitano Noya to maneuver through the defense. Quinton Pais made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anthony Pietrantoni in the 93rd minute of play. After 97 played minutes Burnley FC got a freekick which was hit by Alvise Carnevale. ReyPoxo's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
