In the 20th minute, Benjamim Freitas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PEREBAH FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After a rather tough play, GeRaÇãO-83's Vinícius de Moraes got a free kick in the 24th minute. If Afonso Hermes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vito de Sena in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luciano Dionísio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Thiago Godoi fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PEREBAH FC's protests and gave Thiago Godoi a yellow card for diving instead. Thiago Godoi kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diamantino Penha in the 30th minute of play forced GeRaÇãO-83's goalkeeper Luciano Dionísio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elivélton Brito to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Dorian Gonçalves notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of PEREBAH FC's Amauri Proença. Amauri Proença was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. GeRaÇãO-83's Luciano Dionísio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamim Freitas in the 55th minute of play. In the 58th minute Elivélton Brito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amauri Proença saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benjamim Freitas kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Bruninho Leite's late challenge caught a PEREBAH FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. GeRaÇãO-83's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PEREBAH FC the free kick. The supporters of PEREBAH FC booed when GeRaÇãO-83 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leandro Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. 73 minutes into the game, PEREBAH FC's Thiago Godoi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luciano Dionísio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Thiago Godoi took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luciano Dionísio. Luciano Dionísio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. In the 78th match minute, GeRaÇãO-83 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Marinho to maneuver through the defense. Afonso Hermes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Luciano Dionísio made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Dorian Gonçalves managed to get in a good position for a shot. GeRaÇãO-83's supporters rose to their feet, but Dorian Gonçalves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amauri Proença breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee felt a red card was in order, 89 minutes into the game, when Falcão de Almeida put in a rough tackle. After 88 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for GeRaÇãO-83! A collision led to GeRaÇãO-83 getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Alexsandro Jacinto hit a great ball. The GeRaÇãO-83 fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. PEREBAH FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
