Luciano Dionísio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dalmacio Bilintx in the 35th minute. 41 minutes into the match, C.del.U FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dorian Gonçalves came free, but Casimiro Vermudo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauricio Feliz in the 47th minute of play forced GeRaÇãO-83's goalkeeper Luciano Dionísio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dalmacio Bilintx to strike the kick off in the second half. GeRaÇãO-83's Cacá Godoi got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luciano Dionísio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dalmacio Bilintx in the 63rd minute of the match. Luciano Dionísio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalmacio Bilintx in the 65th minute of play. After a rather tough play, GeRaÇãO-83's Cacá Godoi got a free kick in the 67th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. GeRaÇãO-83 walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
