Spectators: 7553 (Terracing: 5666, Seating: 1737, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ján Kuric started the match with the kick off. Eugen Pataj showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thor Nordin in the 6th minute of the match. In the 9th match minute, Zendraget BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bertil Apelquist to maneuver through the defense. 12 minutes into the game, FC Kukova's Ján Kuric nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Henning Norberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 15th match minute, FC Kukova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tibor Hurban to maneuver through the defense. FC Kukova's Eugen Pataj played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gunnar Berg in the 16th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Gunnar Berg notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of FC Kukova's Eugen Pataj. Eugen Pataj was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Peter Klempa managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Kukova's supporters rose to their feet, but Peter Klempa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henning Norberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Henning Norberg made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Peter Klempa sent off a good shot on target. Peter Klempa kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Eugen Pataj made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thor Nordin in the 35th minute of play. FC Kukova's Eugen Pataj played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joacim Deckberg in the 43rd minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gunnar Berg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Zendraget BK booed when FC Kukova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ján Pivarník didn't get a good kick on the ball. Henning Norberg came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Kukova's Peter Klempa. But to his dismay, Peter Klempa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. When FC Kukova's Ján Kuric in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zendraget BK's goalie prevented a goal. In the 63rd minute Marián Bečka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henning Norberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joacim Deckberg hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. 74 minutes into the match, Gunnar Berg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eugen Pataj. FC Kukova's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gunnar Berg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Ján Kuric's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Henning Norberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. A collision led to FC Kukova getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Peter Klempa hit a great ball. The supporters of Zendraget BK booed when FC Kukova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peter Klempa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 89 played minutes Zendraget BK got a freekick which was hit by Göran Melander. Ján Pivarník struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Henning Norberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Kukova. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl Frisck in the 95th minute of play forced FC Kukova's goalkeeper Eugen Pataj to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Kukova fans cheered their team off the field, for while Zendraget BK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
