Spectators: 7498 (Terracing: 5624, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leonardo Boström started the match with the kick off. Boleslaw Majewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Boström in the 3rd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Leonardo Boström put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Boleslaw Majewski. If Lars-Erik Odeen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jens-Ola Mellberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zygmunt Bubczyk in the 13th minute. In the 14th minute, Yngve Sjöberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sonstorps Fotboll fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars-Erik Odeen in the 18th minute of play forced UNITED GWAREK's goalkeeper Boleslaw Majewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jens-Ola Mellberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zygmunt Bubczyk in the 21st minute. Boleslaw Majewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Boström in the 23rd minute of the match. If Lars-Erik Odeen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 33 minutes into the match, Lars-Erik Odeen notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of UNITED GWAREK's Boleslaw Majewski. Boleslaw Majewski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lars-Erik Odeen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Boleslaw Majewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Zygmunt Bubczyk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zygmunt Bubczyk made a kick off. In the 51st match minute, UNITED GWAREK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Napoleon Poniewaz to maneuver through the defense. In the 55th match minute, Sonstorps Fotboll was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yngve Sjöberg to maneuver through the defense. When Zygmunt Bubczyk came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the UNITED GWAREK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zygmunt Bubczyk couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Sonstorps Fotboll's Sven Backlund got a free kick in the 60th minute. Stasio Jajecznica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Zygmunt Bubczyk came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the UNITED GWAREK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zygmunt Bubczyk couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, UNITED GWAREK's Zbyszko Wielgopolski got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 79th minute, Zygmunt Bubczyk ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jens-Ola Mellberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Sonstorps Fotboll's Jens-Ola Mellberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zygmunt Bubczyk in the 83rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Lars-Erik Odeen could shoot a difficult shot in the 92nd minute, which Boleslaw Majewski however easily saved by the left post. The supporters of Sonstorps Fotboll booed when UNITED GWAREK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zygmunt Bubczyk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sonstorps Fotboll's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
