Spectators: 7598 (Terracing: 5700, Seating: 1747, VIP seats: 151) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ján Kuric took the kick off in the first half of the match. Marian Morovan hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. The supporters of BVB 09 booed when FC Kukova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dávid Petrovič didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filip Mirciulescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ján Kuric in the 14th minute of play. After 19 played minutes BVB 09 got a freekick which was hit by Francisc Ionete. Marian Morovan was extremely unlucky when he, in the 24th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 29 played minutes FC Kukova got a freekick which was hit by Marián Bečka. Filip Mirciulescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ján Kuric in the 35th minute of play. Ján Kuric charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ján Kuric the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 37th minute, Ján Kuric hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Filip Mirciulescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Klempa in the 40th minute of the match. Pavol Čerňanský kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marian Morovan got free with Eugen Pataj in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Eugen Pataj took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandu Bâru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eugen Pataj showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marian Morovan in the 54th minute of the match. BVB 09's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Peter Klempa scored to the left of an out of position Filip Mirciulescu, making the score, 1-1. Eugen Pataj made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandu Bâru in the 64th minute of play. After 64th play minutes Sandu Bâru shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Eugen Pataj and just under the crossbar into goal. BVB 09's Filip Mirciulescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Klempa in the 69th minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Marian Morovan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 79 minutes of play, BVB 09's Sandu Bâru made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eugen Pataj was left in no man's land by his defense there! Filip Mirciulescu was out of position in the 85 minute of play, and Peter Klempa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Peter Klempa really showed his touch with that goal: 3-2. FC Kukova's Eugen Pataj played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandu Bâru in the 91st minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Marian Morovan notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of FC Kukova's Eugen Pataj. Eugen Pataj was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. FC Kukova's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
