The crowd rose to their feet as Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's Flavinho Abraão slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Filip Mirciulescu. That made the score 1-0 after 16 minutes of play. BVB 09's Iacob Martinescu got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's Luís Fabiano Mesquita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eric Ciocâltea in the 30th minute of play. Luís Fabiano Mesquita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marius Agulescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Iacob Martinescu kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. 38 minutes into the game, BVB 09's Sandu Bâru nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luís Fabiano Mesquita made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After 41 minutes, Edinho Tavares mouthed his way into the referee's book. Luís Fabiano Mesquita stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sandu Bâru's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Enéas de Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Sandu Bâru in the 68thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Luís Fabiano Mesquita, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Iacob Martinescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, BVB 09's Marius Agulescu got a free kick in the 72nd minute. When BVB 09's Iacob Martinescu in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Sandu Bâru who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of Luís Fabiano Mesquita when he managed to save the team from getting behind. BVB 09's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
