Boleslaw Drozdowski was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sandu Bâru showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. BVB 09's Filip Mirciulescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walery Dobrzechowski in the 18th minute of play. Iacob Martinescu's late challenge caught a 1909 Tarnovia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iacob Martinescu helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of 1909 Tarnovia booed when BVB 09 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iacob Martinescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marian Morovan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boleslaw Drozdowski having to interfere. 22 minutes into the game, Tadeusz Hajto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 1909 Tarnovia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BVB 09 the free kick. After 22 played minutes 1909 Tarnovia got a freekick which was hit by Tadeusz Hajto. If Sandu Bâru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sandu Bâru got free with Boleslaw Drozdowski in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 31st minute of the match Marian Morovan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Boleslaw Drozdowski showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Augustin Arbore hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After 36 played minutes, 1909 Tarnovia's Cyprian Hludzenski shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Filip Mirciulescu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in 1909 Tarnovia reached it. The supporters of BVB 09 booed when 1909 Tarnovia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sandu Bâru stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the 1909 Tarnovia defense, Sandu Bâru kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Boleslaw Drozdowski. The 1909 Tarnovia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Boleslaw Drozdowski should have stopped the shot. In the 85thth minute of the game Iordache Staicu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 1909 Tarnovia's Boleslaw Drozdowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, BVB 09's Alex Vieru got a free kick in the 90th minute. 1909 Tarnovia's Cyprian Hludzenski couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 91st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for BVB 09. Leonard Mihăilă charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonard Mihăilă the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 93rd minute, Leonard Mihăilă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. BVB 09 were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of 1909 Tarnovia for a fine match.
