Boleslaw Majewski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Kukova. Stasio Jajecznica took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eugen Pataj. Eugen Pataj dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 12 minutes into the match, FC Kukova's Marián Bečka sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Boleslaw Majewski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. UNITED GWAREK's Boleslaw Majewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stano Kelbel in the 13th minute of play. After some careless play in the UNITED GWAREK defense, Ján Kuric kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Boleslaw Majewski. The UNITED GWAREK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Boleslaw Majewski should have stopped the shot. Boleslaw Majewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marián Bečka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 27 minutes, Ján Kuric managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Kukova's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ján Kuric was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 31 played minutes UNITED GWAREK got a freekick which was hit by Leszek Witwicki. After 33 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for UNITED GWAREK! Boleslaw Majewski came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Kukova's Ján Pivarník. But to his dismay, Ján Pivarník quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. FC Kukova's Eugen Pataj played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stasio Jajecznica in the 39th minute of play. Eugen Pataj was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Leszek Witwicki capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Leszek Witwicki really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zygmunt Bubczyk to strike the kick off in the second half. Eugen Pataj showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stasio Jajecznica in the 51st minute of the match. In the 54th match minute, FC Kukova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ján Pivarník to maneuver through the defense. Zygmunt Bubczyk took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eugen Pataj. Eugen Pataj dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Eugen Pataj showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stasio Jajecznica, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. 70 minutes into the game, Marek Ballon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Kukova's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UNITED GWAREK the free kick. In the 70th minute, Marek Ballon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tibor Hurban charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tibor Hurban the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 75th minute there was a penalty for UNITED GWAREK. Waclaw Jajko stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Eugen Pataj. 4-2. Zygmunt Bubczyk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marián Bečka charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marián Bečka the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 85th match minute, FC Kukova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marián Bečka to maneuver through the defense. During the 91st minute of the match Tibor Hurban completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Tibor Hurban a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of UNITED GWAREK booed when FC Kukova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tibor Hurban didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Kukova's Eugen Pataj played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waclaw Jajko in the 93rd minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, UNITED GWAREK could leave the field as winners, despite FC Kukova having more of the ball for most of the match.
