Spectators: 7619 (Terracing: 5715, Seating: 1752, VIP seats: 152) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Leonardo Boström kicked off to start the match. Eugen Pataj showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olof Arvidsson in the 4th minute of the match. Yngve Sjöberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugen Pataj having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, FC Kukova's goal looked a bit too open when Yngve Sjöberg came free, but Eugen Pataj reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 24 minutes, Daniel Balajty mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Kukova and the Sonstorps Fotboll players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 25 played minutes FC Kukova got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Balajty. Ján Kuric came free with the goalkeeper in the 31st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jens-Ola Mellberg could save by the left post. 32 minutes into the game, Sven Backlund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sonstorps Fotboll's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Kukova the free kick. Sven Backlund kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After 34 played minutes Sonstorps Fotboll got a freekick which was hit by Yngve Sjöberg. In the 36th minute, FC Kukova's Marián Bečka ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jens-Ola Mellberg. Jens-Ola Mellberg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Ján Kuric fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens-Ola Mellberg having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ján Kuric to strike the kick off in the second half. Jens-Ola Mellberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ján Kuric, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 59 minutes, Ján Kuric made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Sonstorps Fotboll's Jens-Ola Mellberg tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lars-Erik Odeen got free with Eugen Pataj in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Stano Kelbel's late challenge caught a Sonstorps Fotboll's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stano Kelbel helped the player get up and apologised. In the 67th match minute, FC Kukova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stano Kelbel to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd match minute, Sonstorps Fotboll was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charles Lindqvist to maneuver through the defense. Stano Kelbel got his second yellow card in the match during the 74th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Sonstorps Fotboll booed when FC Kukova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stano Kelbel didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Kukova's Eugen Pataj proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save FC Kukova from getting a goal against them. In the 78th minute Marián Bečka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens-Ola Mellberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sonstorps Fotboll's Leonardo Boström got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 80th minute of the match Ján Pivarník shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jens-Ola Mellberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Ján Kuric's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jens-Ola Mellberg was relentless in the 90th minute of the game.
