Spectators: 7567 (Terracing: 5676, Seating: 1740, VIP seats: 151) An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Jerico in the 3rd minute of play forced Cambotinha EC's goalkeeper Durvalino Dracena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 4th minute, Matias Eli left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Florida Gulf Coast fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Matias Eli took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Durvalino Dracena. Durvalino Dracena dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Fiori Coutinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Maximino Afonso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fiori Coutinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximino Afonso having to interfere. After having played for 16 minutes, Antônio Toledo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cambotinha EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antônio Toledo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Fiori Coutinho notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Florida Gulf Coast's Maximino Afonso. Maximino Afonso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Antônio Toledo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Florida Gulf Coast's Flavio Lauren got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Durvalino Dracena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro Corderun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Matias Eli to make the kick off. With a little luck, Cambotinha EC's Durvalino Dracena got control of the ball when Fabio Jerico tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fidel Maureo kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Fabio Jerico's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 58thth minute, Durvalino Dracena skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 69th minute, Florida Gulf Coast's Fabio Jerico dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. If Flavio Lauren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fabio Jerico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Durvalino Dracena having to interfere. Durvalino Dracena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Corderun in the 86th minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, Florida Gulf Coast's goal looked a bit too open when Fiori Coutinho came free, but Maximino Afonso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
