FC Beatriz 08's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LegionArgentina the free kick. In the 13th minute, Robustiano Incendio sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FC Beatriz 08's Zarco Galvão didn't even have to move. After 16 played minutes FC Beatriz 08 got a freekick which was hit by Domingos Estrela. With a little luck, FC Beatriz 08's Zarco Galvão got control of the ball when Elias Mercurio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gregório Brochado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 26th minute, Saúl Franco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Beatriz 08 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Joel Vasques was shown his second yellow card after 29 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of LegionArgentina booed when FC Beatriz 08 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Vasques didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zarco Galvão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugenio Cordearo in the 31st minute of play. Ariel Ur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Veríssimo Bulhosa in the 32nd minute of play. Ariel Ur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregório Brochado in the 35th minute of the match. Zarco Galvão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugenio Cordearo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Veríssimo Bulhosa in the 44th minute of play forced LegionArgentina's goalkeeper Ariel Ur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robustiano Incendio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Zarco Galvão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half FC Beatriz 08 were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Veríssimo Bulhosa to make the kick off. Eugenio Cordearo took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zarco Galvão. Zarco Galvão dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Lourenço Figueiras kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Veríssimo Bulhosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Veríssimo Bulhosa got free with Ariel Ur in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Veríssimo Bulhosa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Ariel Ur made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Angélico Borges during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 76 played minutes FC Beatriz 08 got a freekick which was hit by Angélico Borges. In the 77th minute Robustiano Incendio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zarco Galvão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Veríssimo Bulhosa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gregório Brochado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ariel Ur having to interfere. Hector Chan's late challenge caught a FC Beatriz 08's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hector Chan helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to LegionArgentina getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Hector Chan hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, LegionArgentina's Urbano Eguntsenti got a free kick in the 90th minute. Zarco Galvão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Mercurio, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
