Spectators: 7472 (Terracing: 5605, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 149) FC Beatriz 08's Saúl Franco started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Veríssimo Bulhosa in the 3rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Durvalino Dracena, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Joel Vasques's late challenge caught a Cambotinha EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joel Vasques helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Cambotinha EC booed when FC Beatriz 08 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Vasques didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dagoberto Aguiar struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Zarco Galvão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cambotinha EC. Jorge Cruz hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. 12 minutes into the game, Cambotinha EC's Antônio Toledo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zarco Galvão made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a rather tough play, Cambotinha EC's Lauro Rosa got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 18th match minute, FC Beatriz 08 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregório Brochado to maneuver through the defense. Fiori Coutinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, FC Beatriz 08's Jorge Cruz got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 26th minute, Zeca Custódio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zarco Galvão was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 29 minutes into the game, Alexandre Paulista cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Zarco Galvão was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Antônio Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Zarco Galvão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antônio Toledo in the 33rd minute of the match. FC Beatriz 08's Zarco Galvão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antônio Toledo in the 35th minute of play. Zarco Galvão came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Cambotinha EC's Fiori Coutinho. But to his dismay, Fiori Coutinho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fiori Coutinho in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zarco Galvão saved FC Beatriz 08 from getting behind. Zeca Custódio hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Durvalino Dracena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saúl Franco, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After having played for 48 minutes, Saúl Franco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Beatriz 08's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saúl Franco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The FC Beatriz 08 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cambotinha EC were winning 0-4.

Fiori Coutinho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Zarco Galvão made a huge save. Durvalino Dracena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saúl Franco in the 62nd minute of play. In the 64th minute, Joel Vasques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, FC Beatriz 08's Zarco Galvão got control of the ball when Fiori Coutinho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zarco Galvão didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fiori Coutinho went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. In the 72nd minute, Saúl Franco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Antônio Toledo took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Zarco Galvão to make any attempt to save it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fiori Coutinho got free with Zarco Galvão in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zarco Galvão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antônio Toledo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gregório Brochado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Cambotinha EC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
