To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Berry Baalen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 潘悦星, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute, Izaak Pierewaaijer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 21 minutes into the game, Izaak Pierewaaijer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Dalwhinnie Boys's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Qingdao Huanghai Fc the free kick. Izaak Pierewaaijer hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Berry Baalen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 潘悦星, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 28 minutes into the game, Izaak Pierewaaijer recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of 傅迪森. Izaak Pierewaaijer showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by 潘悦星 in the 32nd minute of play forced The Dalwhinnie Boys's goalkeeper Berry Baalen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 潘悦星 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Berry Baalen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Qingdao Huanghai Fc getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. 康烽宽 hit a great ball. 傅迪森 made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Henry Kleinman sent off a good shot on target. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Izaak Pierewaaijer to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Henry Kleinman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. 傅迪森 was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 57th match minute, Qingdao Huanghai Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 潘悦星 to maneuver through the defense. Theo Smeekes kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. If 潘悦星 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 67th minute, 潘悦星 reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Berry Baalen. The goal made the score 2-2. After 70 minutes, 潘悦星 made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. The Dalwhinnie Boys's Berry Baalen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Theo Smeekes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by 潘悦星 in the 79th minute of play forced The Dalwhinnie Boys's goalkeeper Berry Baalen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute, 康烽宽 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when 潘悦星 got free with Berry Baalen in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 潘悦星's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 89thth minute, Berry Baalen skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of Qingdao Huanghai Fc booed when The Dalwhinnie Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dimitrie Kuypers didn't get a good kick on the ball. The The Dalwhinnie Boys supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Qingdao Huanghai Fc's performance. The match ended with a win for Qingdao Huanghai Fc.
