The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pau Paredes charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Luisinho Silva hit a great ball. After 9 minutes, Reynaldo Tepedino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Morro Grande E.C and the Astral players grew even worse after the yellow card. Reynaldo Tepedino hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Deivid Trevisan's late challenge caught a Astral's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Willian Loyola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mateusz Wielgopolski in the 15th minute of the match. Morro Grande E.C's Willian Loyola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milosz Kaznocha in the 19th minute of play. After 23 played minutes Morro Grande E.C got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Duarte. Willian Loyola came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Astral's Milosz Kaznocha. But to his dismay, Milosz Kaznocha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 28th minute Milosz Kaznocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willian Loyola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ignacy Filanowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wanderson Mello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Niziolek having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Astral's Zbyszko Kaczanek got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Milosz Kaznocha to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Astral's Milosz Kaznocha dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. The audience was convinced that Cristian Duarte's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emil Niziolek was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Emil Niziolek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raúl Maia, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. A collision led to Morro Grande E.C getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Wanderson Mello hit a great ball. Ignacy Filanowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Willian Loyola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. During the 86th minute of the match Reynaldo Tepedino completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Reynaldo Tepedino a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Reynaldo Tepedino hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Morro Grande E.C's goalkeeper Willian Loyola, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 95 minutes of play, Astral's Milosz Kaznocha made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Willian Loyola was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Morro Grande E.C fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Astral were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
