After 5 played minutes Morro Grande E.C got a freekick which was hit by Raúl Maia. Cristian Duarte's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gervasio Dei read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Nicanor Nabar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Morro Grande E.C's Willian Loyola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Oalo in the 30th minute of play. César Vinhas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gervasio Dei. Chanchos's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 34th minute, Isidoro Oalo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Duarte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 44thth minute of the game Cristian Duarte who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chanchos's Gervasio Dei was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Deivid Trevisan charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Deivid Trevisan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Morro Grande E.C getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Deivid Trevisan hit a great ball. In the 63rd match minute, Morro Grande E.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Deivid Trevisan to maneuver through the defense. Willian Loyola didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rosendo Estevez went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 75th minute, Rosendo Estevez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gervasio Dei made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Cristian Duarte sent off a good shot on target. Luisinho Silva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 90th minute, Diogo Pinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
