The audience thought a goal was coming when Emil Bronkala got free with Willian Loyola in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Morro Grande E.C booed when Astral was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignacy Filanowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Cristian Duarte's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emil Niziolek was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Willian Loyola was out of position in the 10 minute of play, and Emil Bronkala capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Emil Bronkala really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Diogo Pinho kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Willian Loyola made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emil Bronkala in the 14th minute. In the 22nd minute Cristian Duarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Niziolek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ignacy Filanowski hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After having played for 35 minutes, Cristian Duarte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Morro Grande E.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Duarte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 38th minute, Emil Bronkala reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Willian Loyola. The goal made the score 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristian Duarte to make the kick off. In the 62nd minute, Emil Bronkala ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Willian Loyola was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. After 71 played minutes Astral got a freekick which was hit by Pau Paredes. When Cristian Duarte came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Morro Grande E.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Duarte couldn't finish the play. Ernani Cearense hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After 79 played minutes Astral got a freekick which was hit by Mateusz Wielgopolski. In the 82nd minute, Reynaldo Tepedino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Morro Grande E.C defense, Mateusz Wielgopolski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Willian Loyola. The Morro Grande E.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Willian Loyola should have stopped the shot. 90 minutes into the match, Morro Grande E.C's goal looked a bit too open when Milosz Kaznocha came free, but Willian Loyola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Astral had played much better football throughout.
