After 22 minutes of play, Morro Grande E.C's Cristian Duarte made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Umberto Torres was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Morro Grande E.C getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. César Vinhas hit a great ball. Jailson Trigo kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Deivid Trevisan kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristian Duarte made a kick off. A collision led to Morro Grande E.C getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Willian Loyola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui Munhoz, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. When the final whistle went the supporters of Morro Grande E.C were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant FC VERDE-AMARELO PORCO side.
