Spectators: 7449 (Terracing: 5588, Seating: 1713, VIP seats: 148) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. José Fernandez started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd match minute, SeleSantos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eurico Prestes to maneuver through the defense. 3 minutes into the game, AC Roma's Ciro Orlandi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tales Siqueira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The supporters of SeleSantos FC booed when AC Roma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilio Di Fazio didn't get a good kick on the ball. José Fernandez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlo Del Giudice having to make a save. Abelardo de Moraes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlo Del Giudice read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Ciro Orlandi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. AC Roma's Carlo Del Giudice played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelardo de Moraes in the 25th minute of play. Carlo Del Giudice took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abelardo de Moraes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ciro Orlandi to make the kick off. Carlo Del Giudice showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abelardo de Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in AC Roma's zone, José Fernandez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlo Del Giudice came out of the goal and José Fernandez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carlo Del Giudice took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Fernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adrianinho Catarinense during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of AC Roma booed when SeleSantos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrianinho Catarinense didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Fedele Anastasi fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AC Roma's protests and gave Fedele Anastasi a yellow card for diving instead. Fedele Anastasi hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Comunardo Castellini's late challenge caught a SeleSantos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Comunardo Castellini helped the player get up and apologised. After 66 played minutes AC Roma got a freekick which was hit by Comunardo Castellini. Carlo Del Giudice took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Fernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 77 minutes, Fedele Anastasi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AC Roma's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fedele Anastasi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carlo Del Giudice came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by SeleSantos FC's José Fernandez. But to his dismay, José Fernandez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Tales Siqueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabrizio Di Silvio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute José Fernandez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlo Del Giudice saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AC Roma's Carlo Del Giudice played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Fernandez in the 91st minute of play. Tales Siqueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro Orlandi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tales Siqueira was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Angelo Marcelli.
