The audience was convinced that Márcio Domingues's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlo Del Giudice was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. In the 14th minute Márcio Domingues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlo Del Giudice saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Júlio Neves during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of AC Roma booed when Compugraf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Júlio Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabrizio Di Silvio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Chico Fernandez. Compugraf's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Carlo Del Giudice didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from José Paulo Costa went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When Ciro Orlandi fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AC Roma's protests and gave Ciro Orlandi a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, AC Roma's Ciro Orlandi got a free kick in the 29th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Cássio Ribeiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlo Del Giudice. AC Roma's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cássio Ribeiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. The Compugraf fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when Compugraf's Cássio Ribeiro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Cássio Ribeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Júlio Neves kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Chico Fernandez acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 41st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Fabrizio Di Silvio. Cássio Ribeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After 44 played minutes, AC Roma's Fabrizio Di Silvio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Chico Fernandez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in AC Roma reached it. If Márcio Domingues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Márcio Domingues scored 0-5 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carlo Del Giudice, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Márcio Domingues was the one to do the kick off. After 54 played minutes Compugraf got a freekick which was hit by José Paulo Costa. After a rather tough play, Compugraf's Márcio Domingues got a free kick in the 57th minute. Enio Fonseca hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Márcio Domingues received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Carlo Del Giudice came out and tried to block the shot, but Márcio Domingues slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 66th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Márcio Domingues in the 72nd minute of play forced AC Roma's goalkeeper Carlo Del Giudice to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Márcio Domingues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Carlo Del Giudice made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Márcio Domingues in the 74th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Compugraf's José Paulo Costa got a free kick in the 78th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciro Orlandi in the 79th minute of play forced Compugraf's goalkeeper Chico Fernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cássio Ribeiro's late challenge caught a AC Roma's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cássio Ribeiro helped the player get up and apologised. Cássio Ribeiro hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Fabrizio Di Silvio missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 84 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Chico Fernandez right hand side. Márcio Domingues recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Enio Fonseca hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Compugraf's Rui Magalhães got a free kick in the 95th minute. After 95 played minutes, AC Roma's Fabrizio Di Silvio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Chico Fernandez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in AC Roma reached it. Compugraf's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
