The crowd rose to their feet as SeleSantos FC's Vitinho Pirani slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Roberto Barbosa. That made the score 0-2 after 63 minutes of play. After 67 played minutes SRP-Laguna got a freekick which was hit by Nelsinho Mendes. Adrianinho Catarinense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Barbosa having to interfere. SeleSantos FC's attentive Ernani Cerezo managed to snatch the ball when Ernesto Maranhense made a throw-in in the 87th minute of the game. In the 92nd minute, SeleSantos FC's Vitinho Pirani ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Roberto Barbosa. Roberto Barbosa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Adrianinho Catarinense charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adrianinho Catarinense the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, SeleSantos FC's Adrianinho Catarinense got a free kick in the 96th minute. SeleSantos FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
