With his leg Roberto Barbosa managed to avoid a goal in the 5thth minute, when Ninjas FK's Jonatan Blomkvist fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonatan Blomkvist got free with Roberto Barbosa in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 12 minutes into the match, SRP-Laguna's goalkeeper Roberto Barbosa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonatan Blomkvist. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joseph Hjeltman in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roberto Barbosa saved SRP-Laguna from getting behind. When Donato Arantes fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SRP-Laguna's protests and gave Donato Arantes a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to SRP-Laguna getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Donato Arantes hit a great ball. In the 18th minute Joseph Hjeltman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Barbosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute, Ninjas FK's Joseph Hjeltman dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. After 35 minutes, Rubens Brasil mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SRP-Laguna and the Ninjas FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 35th match minute, SRP-Laguna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rubens Brasil to maneuver through the defense. Kaj Askestät came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by SRP-Laguna's Romário Borges. But to his dismay, Romário Borges quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Romário Borges stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52ndth minute of the game Joseph Hjeltman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SRP-Laguna's Roberto Barbosa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Donato Arantes hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. A collision led to Ninjas FK getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Jonatan Blomkvist hit a great ball. If Joseph Hjeltman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Romário Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Ninjas FK booed when SRP-Laguna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elder Cerezo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ninjas FK's goalkeeper Kaj Askestät, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ninjas FK were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of SRP-Laguna for a fine match.
