Spectators: 7564 (Terracing: 5674, Seating: 1739, VIP seats: 151) Compugraf's Joel Vidal started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes Compugraf got a freekick which was hit by Edmundo Dias. In the 5th minute, Pinhote FC's Teodoro Ornelas seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Teodoro Ornelas the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Pinhote FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Teodoro Ornelas had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 4th minute of the game. One of Pinhote FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Compugraf:s goal. The supporters of Compugraf booed when Pinhote FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafim Leão didn't get a good kick on the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Joel Vidal dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alberto Domingos, 2-0. After 20 played minutes Pinhote FC got a freekick which was hit by Eusébio Salgueiro. Paulino Araújo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chico Fernandez having to interfere. If Márcio Domingues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Márcio Domingues got free with Alberto Domingos in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eusébio Salgueiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chico Fernandez having to interfere. After 34 minutes of play, Compugraf's Enio Fonseca made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alberto Domingos was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Pinhote FC's zone, Joel Vidal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alberto Domingos came out of the goal and Joel Vidal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alexandre Câmara's late challenge caught a Compugraf's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alexandre Câmara helped the player get up and apologised. In the 38th match minute, Pinhote FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandre Câmara to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Compugraf's Enio Fonseca got a free kick in the 43rd minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paulino Araújo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Compugraf's goalkeeper Chico Fernandez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Márcio Domingues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 63 minutes into the match, Pinhote FC's goal looked a bit too open when Márcio Domingues came free, but Alberto Domingos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baltasar Saraiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Compugraf's Luís Guilherme Sampaio got a free kick in the 71st minute. Márcio Domingues recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joel Vidal during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 75th match minute, Compugraf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Vidal to maneuver through the defense. Joel Vidal kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Alexandre Câmara got a throw-in 83 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Serafim Leão. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Compugraf were victorious despite being under pressure from Pinhote FC for much of the match.
