SeleSantos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Motala the free kick. A collision led to SeleSantos FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Adrianinho Catarinense hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 12 minutes, Tales Siqueira successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. SeleSantos FC's Tales Siqueira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save SeleSantos FC from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Simon Kinell got free with Tales Siqueira in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. SeleSantos FC's Tales Siqueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jack Eklund in the 18th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Eurico Prestes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 21 played minutes Motala got a freekick which was hit by Charlie Beckström. Åke Björling came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by SeleSantos FC's Vitinho Pirani. But to his dismay, Vitinho Pirani quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Vitinho Pirani struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Åke Björling didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SeleSantos FC. Åke Björling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eurico Prestes in the 34th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitinho Pirani in the 35th minute of play forced Motala's goalkeeper Åke Björling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vitinho Pirani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Vitinho Pirani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 42 minutes, Vitinho Pirani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SeleSantos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vitinho Pirani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Åke Björling took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vitinho Pirani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Motala players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SeleSantos FC were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jack Eklund made a kick off. Fred Moura kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the game, Amauri Freitas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In the 63rd minute, Charlie Beckström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 66th match minute, SeleSantos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrianinho Catarinense to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th minute, Fred Moura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Vitinho Pirani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tales Siqueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jack Eklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vitinho Pirani during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vitinho Pirani hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. SeleSantos FC's Tales Siqueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reine Wallander in the 85th minute of play. When the match was over SeleSantos FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Motala throughout the match.
