A collision led to LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Durval Tinoco hit a great ball. AQUILES's Benjamin Ugaitz got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 7 minutes into the game, Octavio Curcio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Leandro Moraes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prospero Eguntsenti in the 12th minute of play forced LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF's goalkeeper Leandro Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ulises Txindoki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rony Paes, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Hermengildo Gorosti took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Leandro Moraes to make any attempt to save it. With a little luck, LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF's Leandro Moraes got control of the ball when Octavio Curcio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hermengildo Gorosti hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Prospero Eguntsenti hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After 25 minutes of play, LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF's Ademir Salles made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ulises Txindoki was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF's Reginaldo Ribeiro got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 36th minute Rony Paes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulises Txindoki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leandro Moraes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wilfredo Banegas in the 37th minute. Ulises Txindoki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rony Paes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute, Prospero Eguntsenti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Octavio Curcio came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the AQUILES fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Octavio Curcio couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Octavio Curcio was the one to do the kick off. Leandro Moraes came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by AQUILES's Octavio Curcio. But to his dismay, Octavio Curcio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Egídio Abreu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ulises Txindoki came out and tried to block the shot, but Egídio Abreu slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 55th minute. When Rony Paes fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF's protests and gave Rony Paes a yellow card for diving instead. Octavio Curcio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rony Paes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Ulises Txindoki made a huge save. 71 minutes into the match, Rony Paes notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of AQUILES's Ulises Txindoki. Ulises Txindoki was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Egídio Abreu's late challenge caught a AQUILES's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Egídio Abreu helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of AQUILES booed when LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Egídio Abreu didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Higinio Shantala in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leandro Moraes saved LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF from getting behind. Octavio Curcio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Leandro Moraes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, AQUILES's Roman Aresti got a free kick in the 81st minute. AQUILES's Ulises Txindoki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rony Paes in the 85th minute of play. In the 89th minute, LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF's Ademir Salles dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-4. LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF's Leandro Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Higinio Shantala in the 93rd minute of play. In the 94th minute, Egídio Abreu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-5. The AQUILES supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF's performance. The match ended with a win for LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF.
