Spectators: 7509 (Terracing: 5632, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Octavio Curcio started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, AQUILES's Ulises Txindoki got control of the ball when Karol Kopacz tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Czeslaw Skrzypiec fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gortaty's protests and gave Czeslaw Skrzypiec a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Gortaty's Czeslaw Skrzypiec got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 7th minute Prospero Eguntsenti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kryspin Kaminski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kryspin Kaminski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octavio Curcio in the 11th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Prospero Eguntsenti in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kryspin Kaminski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to AQUILES getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Roman Aresti hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute, Alvaro Cedro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karol Kopacz came free with the goalkeeper in the 27th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ulises Txindoki could save by the left post. AQUILES's Ulises Txindoki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Czeslaw Skrzypiec in the 28th minute of play. When Higinio Shantala came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the AQUILES fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Higinio Shantala couldn't finish the play. In the 38th minute, Benjamin Ugaitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 40 played minutes AQUILES got a freekick which was hit by Wilfredo Banegas. After 43 minutes of play Gortaty's Czeslaw Skrzypiec was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Gortaty's Czeslaw Skrzypiec got a free kick in the 43rd minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Karol Kopacz made the kick off in the second half. Rafal Arendarski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th minute, AQUILES's Prospero Eguntsenti dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. After 65 minutes, Prospero Eguntsenti mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AQUILES and the Gortaty players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Gortaty booed when AQUILES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prospero Eguntsenti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kryspin Kaminski made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Octavio Curcio sent off a good shot on target. Kryspin Kaminski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Higinio Shantala, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. If Karol Kopacz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Higinio Shantala succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 81st playminute. When the final whistle sounded AQUILES left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Gortaty.
