Spectators: 7472 (Terracing: 5605, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 149) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Everardo Martxelin got the match started through his kick off. If Godfredo Ponc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stasio Kosakowski hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Jerzy Konopka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urbano Calvino in the 20th minute of the match. Everardo Martxelin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Jerzy Konopka made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Everardo Martxelin in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jerzy Konopka prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 29 minutes, Stasio Kosakowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gortaty's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stasio Kosakowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gortaty's Jerzy Konopka proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Gortaty from getting a goal against them. In the 33rd minute, Urbano Calvino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 36th minute of the match, Everardo Martxelin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jerzy Konopka saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Miguel Licerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stasio Kosakowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arkadiusz Grajewski struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Miguel Licerio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gortaty. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gonzalo Balasi during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 42 played minutes Guiñazú FC got a freekick which was hit by Gonzalo Balasi. An unexpectedly hard shot by Everardo Martxelin in the 45th minute of play forced Gortaty's goalkeeper Jerzy Konopka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Guiñazú FC booed when Gortaty was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arkadiusz Grajewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Arkadiusz Grajewski made the kick off in the second half. Gortaty's Jerzy Konopka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Everardo Martxelin in the 52nd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Stasio Kosakowski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Miguel Licerio, 0-1. In the 60th match minute, Gortaty was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arkadiusz Grajewski to maneuver through the defense. Gortaty's Jerzy Konopka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Everardo Martxelin in the 62nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arkadiusz Grajewski in the 66th minute of play forced Guiñazú FC's goalkeeper Miguel Licerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Urbano Calvino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Jerzy Konopka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guiñazú FC's Urbano Calvino got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Urbano Calvino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerzy Konopka having to interfere. Miguel Licerio came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Gortaty's Arkadiusz Grajewski. But to his dismay, Arkadiusz Grajewski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. When Efrain Eztebe came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Guiñazú FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Efrain Eztebe couldn't finish the play. Godfredo Ponc kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Gortaty's Jerzy Konopka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Everardo Martxelin in the 92nd minute of play. The Guiñazú FC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Gortaty to win.
