The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Suat Mengücek came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Líbano's Muhannad Ajram. But to his dismay, Muhannad Ajram quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Suat Mengücek was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Kadar Aban. An unexpectedly hard shot by Muhannad Ajram in the 13th minute of play forced Valar morghulis's goalkeeper Suat Mengücek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Suat Mengücek yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Through an outstanding action, after 37 minutes, Suat Mengücek successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Suat Mengücek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kadar Aban in the 38th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Valar morghulis's goalkeeper Suat Mengücek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hamzah Al Safi. Suat Mengücek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hamzah Al Safi in the 44th minute. Suat Mengücek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Muhannad Ajram, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

A collision led to Valar morghulis getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Fetih Sargınal hit a great ball. With a little luck, Líbano's Fatih Adas got control of the ball when Zaid Titiz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Suat Mengücek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Muhannad Ajram in the 63rd minute of the match. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Borhan Ruwaid hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. The supporters of Valar morghulis booed when Líbano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diya Arif didn't get a good kick on the ball. Suat Mengücek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hamzah Al Safi in the 90th minute of the match. A collision led to Valar morghulis getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Cumhur Elmas hit a great ball. Suat Mengücek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Muhannad Ajram in the 93rd minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Líbano fans cheered their team off the field, for while Valar morghulis had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
