Spectators: 7608 (Terracing: 5707, Seating: 1750, VIP seats: 151) 6 minutes into the match, Royal Knights FC's goal looked a bit too open when Camilo Bastiaro came free, but Luís Guilherme Novaes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute Dedê Rossi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Hermon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pegaso's Abel Colas got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dedê Rossi kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Luís Guilherme Novaes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernesto Jurgi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes into the game, Allan Andrade was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Royal Knights FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pegaso the free kick. Luís Guilherme Novaes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Jurgi in the 25th minute of play. Zeledon Hermon made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Allan Andrade sent off a good shot on target. After 34 minutes, Rodolfo Mikelats mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pegaso and the Royal Knights FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Pegaso getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Rodolfo Mikelats hit a great ball. After 37 minutes of play, Pegaso's Abel Colas made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luís Guilherme Novaes was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 40 minutes, Camilo Bastiaro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pegaso and the Royal Knights FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Camilo Bastiaro hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. A collision led to Pegaso getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Camilo Bastiaro hit a great ball. 48 minutes into the game, Ernesto Jurgi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Luís Guilherme Novaes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half Pegaso were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abel Colas made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Pegaso's goal looked a bit too open when Fernandinho Fantini came free, but Zeledon Hermon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute, Miguel Remicio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Celsinho Garcia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 58th match minute, Pegaso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Bastiaro to maneuver through the defense. Allan Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Zeledon Hermon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute Abel Colas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Guilherme Novaes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luís Guilherme Novaes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernesto Jurgi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience held their breath when Celsinho Garcia in the 88th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Zeledon Hermon's left hand side. Ernesto Jurgi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Luís Guilherme Novaes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Royal Knights FC's Elivélton Valle got a free kick in the 95th minute. The Royal Knights FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Pegaso's performance. The match ended with a win for Pegaso.
