Líbano's Muhannad Ajram got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 5 played minutes Líbano got a freekick which was hit by Diya Arif. Fatih Adas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sydney Maciel, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. If Borhan Ruwaid had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Muhannad Ajram in the 24th minute of play forced FC Gustavo FPRMZ's goalkeeper Edmundo Lopes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmundo Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hamzah Al Safi in the 28th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Muhannad Ajram in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edmundo Lopes saved FC Gustavo FPRMZ from getting behind. When Kléber Tavares fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Gustavo FPRMZ's protests and gave Kléber Tavares a yellow card for diving instead. In the 37th minute, Kléber Tavares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hamzah Al Safi in the 42nd minute of play forced FC Gustavo FPRMZ's goalkeeper Edmundo Lopes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 43 minutes, Mohammad Faraj mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Líbano and the FC Gustavo FPRMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 44th minute of the match Kléber Tavares sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fatih Adas skillfully saved the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joaquim Mandrak made a kick off. Fatih Adas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Durval Carneiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After 56 played minutes FC Gustavo FPRMZ got a freekick which was hit by Rubens Diniz. After 57 played minutes, Líbano's Diya Arif shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Edmundo Lopes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Líbano reached it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by André Luiz Furtado during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 59th match minute, FC Gustavo FPRMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Luiz Furtado to maneuver through the defense. 63 minutes into the match, Líbano's goal looked a bit too open when Sydney Maciel came free, but Fatih Adas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, FC Gustavo FPRMZ's Edmundo Lopes got control of the ball when Hamzah Al Safi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sydney Maciel kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rubens Diniz in the 75th minute of play forced Líbano's goalkeeper Fatih Adas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the game, Joaquim Mandrak cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Fatih Adas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sydney Maciel got his second yellow card in the match during the 82nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Sydney Maciel kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. After 87 minutes of play, FC Gustavo FPRMZ's Joaquim Mandrak made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fatih Adas was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Líbano's Borhan Ruwaid slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Edmundo Lopes. That made the score 2-2 after 90 minutes of play. Hadi Faraj recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Líbano were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
