Líbano's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Claudinho Saldanha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Cássio de Senna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zakour Nusrah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Líbano's Hadi Faraj got a free kick in the 36th minute. Cássio de Senna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zakour Nusrah in the 41st minute of play. Hamzah Al Safi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cássio de Senna having to make a save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The penalty shot was made by Zakour Nusrah, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Poetass FC's Cássio de Senna. 1-1. Zakour Nusrah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cássio de Senna having to interfere. In the 95th match minute, Poetass FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Genílson Andrade to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute of the match Zakour Nusrah sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cássio de Senna skillfully saved the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
