The audience thought a goal was coming when Claudinho Saldanha got free with Arnaldo Berardi in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Claudinho Saldanha didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 2-0 via right post in the game's 22nd minute. Poetass FC's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! If Olavo Carioca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Poetass FC's Arnaldo Berardi threw himself towards the right post 27 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Olavo Carioca, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lovis Camiscia during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Poetass FC made a substitution. Narciso Freire replaced Genílson Andrade. In the 29th minute, Lovis Camiscia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Black Dragons's Arnaldo Berardi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Black Dragons from getting a goal against them. Claudinho Saldanha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Berardi having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Olavo Carioca notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Black Dragons's Arnaldo Berardi. Arnaldo Berardi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Poetass FC's Silvério Antunes got a free kick in the 64th minute. Lovis Camiscia was shown his second yellow card after 66 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 70th minute Olavo Carioca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaldo Berardi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72ndth minute of the game Olavo Carioca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Black Dragons's Arnaldo Berardi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Claudinho Saldanha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olavo Carioca scored 5-0 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnaldo Berardi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mirko Theiss charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mirko Theiss the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 81 minutes into the game, one of Black Dragons:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Poetass FC a penalty, 84 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Rony Peixoto, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Black Dragons's Arnaldo Berardi. 6-0. Claudinho Saldanha took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnaldo Berardi. Arnaldo Berardi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. 93 minutes into the match, Claudinho Saldanha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnaldo Berardi. Black Dragons's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Claudinho Saldanha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. After some careless play in the Black Dragons defense, Claudinho Saldanha kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnaldo Berardi. The Black Dragons fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnaldo Berardi should have stopped the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Poetass FC had played much better football throughout.
