Spectators: 7528 (Terracing: 5653, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Olav Nydal started the match with the kick off. Kai-Arne Ulset showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herminio Echaniz in the 5th minute of the match. Cruz Cañizares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olav Nydal in the 10th minute of play. Cordarrell Landa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kai-Arne Ulset having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Birra Cultura F.C's Herminio Echaniz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. After 19th play minutes Herminio Echaniz shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Kai-Arne Ulset and just under the crossbar into goal. The supporters of Birra Cultura F.C booed when KEZ Toppfotball was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars Steen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Birra Cultura F.C's Emeterio Zalaeta shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 24th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Kai-Arne Ulset but with some difficulty. Kai-Arne Ulset made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herminio Echaniz in the 35th minute of play. Kai-Arne Ulset stood somewhat misplaced when Constantino Junquera came free in front of goal and shot 3-2 to the left of him in the 38 minute. Kai-Arne Ulset stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Constantino Junquera's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Birra Cultura F.C's Timoteo Acebes got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nereo Espriu took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kai-Arne Ulset. Kai-Arne Ulset dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-2 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Herminio Echaniz made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Peter Mogen during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Birra Cultura F.C booed when KEZ Toppfotball was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peter Mogen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 54 played minutes, Birra Cultura F.C's Emeterio Zalaeta shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kai-Arne Ulset came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Birra Cultura F.C reached it. KEZ Toppfotball's Kai-Arne Ulset played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herminio Echaniz in the 55th minute of play. After a rather tough play, KEZ Toppfotball's Sebastian Angvik got a free kick in the 55th minute. After 60 played minutes Birra Cultura F.C got a freekick which was hit by Nereo Espriu. Herminio Echaniz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sverre Opstad charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sverre Opstad the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to KEZ Toppfotball getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Sverre Opstad hit a great ball. Cruz Cañizares acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 74th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Olav Nydal. 78 minutes into the match, KEZ Toppfotball's goal looked a bit too open when Herminio Echaniz came free, but Kai-Arne Ulset reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Birra Cultura F.C defense, Peter Mogen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cruz Cañizares. The Birra Cultura F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cruz Cañizares should have stopped the shot. Birra Cultura F.C's Cruz Cañizares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Birra Cultura F.C from getting a goal against them. Herminio Echaniz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Kai-Arne Ulset tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in KEZ Toppfotball's zone, Herminio Echaniz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kai-Arne Ulset came out of the goal and Herminio Echaniz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kai-Arne Ulset took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herminio Echaniz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cruz Cañizares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olav Nydal in the 91st minute of the match. In the 93rd minute Herminio Echaniz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kai-Arne Ulset saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Birra Cultura F.C booed when KEZ Toppfotball was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Birger Engdal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 97th minute of the match Emeterio Zalaeta shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kai-Arne Ulset showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
