Adrián Saez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Birra Cultura F.C. In the 16th match minute, FCSB CUENCA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Misael Zapatero to maneuver through the defense. 20 minutes into the match, Timoteo Acebes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adrián Saez. FCSB CUENCA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Timoteo Acebes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Troy Segarra took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Cruz Cañizares to make any attempt to save it. Pitin Albizua hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in FCSB CUENCA's zone, Timoteo Acebes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adrián Saez came out of the goal and Timoteo Acebes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 29th match minute, Birra Cultura F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franko Rico to maneuver through the defense. Adrián Saez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herminio Echaniz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Herminio Echaniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Timoteo Acebes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrián Saez having to interfere. Constantino Junquera struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Adrián Saez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Birra Cultura F.C. Adrián Saez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herminio Echaniz in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bernardo Solo to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Birra Cultura F.C defense, Pitin Albizua kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cruz Cañizares. The Birra Cultura F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cruz Cañizares should have stopped the shot. When Plauto Urbina was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 58 minutes had been played. After 59 played minutes FCSB CUENCA got a freekick which was hit by Plauto Urbina. Adrián Saez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herminio Echaniz in the 60th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Birra Cultura F.C's Adrián Saez threw himself towards the right post 63 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Herminio Echaniz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Emeterio Zalaeta came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Birra Cultura F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emeterio Zalaeta couldn't finish the play. When Pitin Albizua fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FCSB CUENCA's protests and gave Pitin Albizua a yellow card for diving instead. Pitin Albizua hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Herminio Echaniz in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adrián Saez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bernardo Solo hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. A well placed Herminio Echaniz short distance shot in the 81st minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. The audience was convinced that Herminio Echaniz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adrián Saez was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. 91 minutes into the match, FCSB CUENCA's goal looked a bit too open when Herminio Echaniz came free, but Adrián Saez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. FCSB CUENCA were victorious despite being under pressure from Birra Cultura F.C for much of the match.
