Spectators: 7483 (Terracing: 5614, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Anfilogino Zico kicked off to start the match. Tímon Weiner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anfilogino Zico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Aldo Salemme came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Villa Gordiani fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aldo Salemme couldn't finish the play. In the 20th minute, Felicien Zehntner made a precise shot to the right of Ciro Del Vecchio. Villa Gordiani's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Villa Gordiani's Ciro Del Vecchio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robin Meier in the 24th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, B68 Toftir's goalkeeper Tímon Weiner had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ferruccio Calcio. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felicien Zehntner in the 31st minute of play forced Villa Gordiani's goalkeeper Ciro Del Vecchio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aldo Salemme recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half B68 Toftir were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Felicien Zehntner made a kick off. A collision led to Villa Gordiani getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Aldo Salemme hit a great ball. Robin Meier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th minute Anfilogino Zico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tímon Weiner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tímon Weiner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anfilogino Zico in the 64th minute of play. In the 64th minute, Poldi Pfenniger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tímon Weiner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anfilogino Zico, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. After 67 played minutes B68 Toftir got a freekick which was hit by Claus Hess. The Villa Gordiani fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when Villa Gordiani's Anfilogino Zico looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 83rd minute, Luke Oehen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 85th minute of the game. One of B68 Toftir:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Villa Gordiani:s goal. In the 87th match minute, B68 Toftir was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claus Hess to maneuver through the defense. Robin Meier's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ciro Del Vecchio firmly grabbed it by the left post. Robin Meier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Ciro Del Vecchio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 97 minutes into the game, Claus Hess was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. B68 Toftir's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Villa Gordiani the free kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anfilogino Zico in the 99th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tímon Weiner prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the final whistle went the supporters of B68 Toftir were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Villa Gordiani side.
