The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aílton Donato to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Aílton Donato managed to get in a good position for a shot. Minuim SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Aílton Donato was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciro Del Vecchio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anfilogino Zico in the 54th minute of play forced Minuim SS's goalkeeper Maurinho Corrêa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aílton Donato might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ciro Del Vecchio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aílton Donato ran back to his position shaking his head. A long shot from César Sanches in the 58th minute of play was well struck, but Ciro Del Vecchio made a really good save at the right post. Aílton Donato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
