The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Santo Izel during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Santo Izel hit a great ball. 14 minutes into the game, Júlio Ferraz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Minuim SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Colosos Afc the free kick. Júlio Ferraz hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Minuim SS were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after Colosos Afc's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edgar do Nascimento took the corner. After taking down the ball on Minuim SS's corner Edgar do Nascimento fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Raul Udalaitz quite easily take care of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Romeo Froylan during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Colosos Afc's Romeo Froylan got a free kick in the 25th minute. Raul Udalaitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aílton Donato, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Raul Udalaitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aílton Donato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aílton Donato's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raul Udalaitz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. In the 37th minute Jorge Cordeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raul Udalaitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Santo Izel came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Colosos Afc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Santo Izel couldn't finish the play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aílton Donato to strike the kick off in the second half. Raul Udalaitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aílton Donato in the 54th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, Colosos Afc's goal looked a bit too open when Aílton Donato came free, but Raul Udalaitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Arthur Severo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maurinho Corrêa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Qwinton in the 65th minute of play. When the match was over Minuim SS could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Colosos Afc throughout the match.
