Bernie Rosales ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to El Canalla de Chicago getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Kent Carney hit a great ball. Antonio Baldassarre kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Scott Souza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Ciro Del Vecchio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, El Canalla de Chicago's Scott Souza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ciro Del Vecchio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Scott Souza in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ciro Del Vecchio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 36th minute, Scott Souza made a precise shot to the right of Ciro Del Vecchio. Villa Gordiani's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Vince Potts took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ciro Del Vecchio. Ciro Del Vecchio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 47th minute, Carter Rainaldi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Villa Gordiani players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. El Canalla de Chicago were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Scott Souza was the one to do the kick off. In the last second Ciro Del Vecchio throw himself and got hold of the ball when Scott Souza in the 53rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 55th minute, El Canalla de Chicago's Scott Souza dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. El Canalla de Chicago's Roosevelt Guthrie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrea Varglien in the 66th minute of play. With a little luck, Villa Gordiani's Ciro Del Vecchio got control of the ball when Scott Souza tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 69th minute Scott Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Del Vecchio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Villa Gordiani's goalkeeper Ciro Del Vecchio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kent Carney. After a rather tough play, El Canalla de Chicago's Scott Souza got a free kick in the 80th minute. 82 minutes into the match, El Canalla de Chicago's goal looked a bit too open when Anfilogino Zico came free, but Roosevelt Guthrie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Concetto Trombatore during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
