Minuim SS's Maurinho Corrêa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Minuim SS from getting a goal against them. If Jorge Cordeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to B68 Toftir getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Claus Hess hit a great ball. August Ritter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from César Sanches, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. César Sanches hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the game, Donald Decker was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. B68 Toftir's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Minuim SS the free kick. Donald Decker kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Betão Faria managed to get in a good position for a shot. Minuim SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Betão Faria was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. August Ritter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Claus Hess got his second yellow card in the match during the 32nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 33rd match minute, B68 Toftir was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claus Hess to maneuver through the defense. After 33 played minutes, Minuim SS's Edgar do Nascimento shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper August Ritter came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Minuim SS reached it. If Aílton Donato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Betão Faria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. August Ritter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

César Sanches could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but August Ritter made a huge save. After having played for 57 minutes, Betão Faria managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Minuim SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Betão Faria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in B68 Toftir's zone, César Sanches stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. August Ritter came out of the goal and César Sanches tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. August Ritter made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Betão Faria sent off a good shot on target. August Ritter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aílton Donato in the 65th minute of play. In the 66th match minute, B68 Toftir was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascal Schneider to maneuver through the defense. August Ritter was out of position in the 69 minute of play, and Betão Faria capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Betão Faria really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. August Ritter made an important save on a dangerous shot by César Sanches in the 72nd minute. In the 73rd minute, Aílton Donato got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Poldi Pfenniger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. August Ritter was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Betão Faria showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 80 minute of play. Jorge Cordeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. August Ritter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Betão Faria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jorge Cordeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute of the match, Aílton Donato tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but August Ritter saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 87thth minute of the game Aílton Donato who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but B68 Toftir's August Ritter was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aílton Donato got free with August Ritter in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Everett Vonlanthen kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match.
