Tacheros OFF's Rigoberto Eyague played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Fernandes in the 9th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filipe Quinaz in the 10th minute of play forced Tacheros OFF's goalkeeper Rigoberto Eyague to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute Manuel Fernandes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rigoberto Eyague saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manuel Fernandes in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rigoberto Eyague saved Tacheros OFF from getting behind. Rigoberto Eyague showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Fernandes, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. The supporters of Gremio Viana booed when Tacheros OFF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lázaro Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manuel Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rigoberto Eyague having to interfere. 31 minutes into the game, Orlando Joey was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tacheros OFF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gremio Viana the free kick. 33 minutes into the match, Tacheros OFF's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Fernandes came free, but Rigoberto Eyague reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute Filipe Quinaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rigoberto Eyague saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Tacheros OFF's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Fernandes came free, but Rigoberto Eyague reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 39 played minutes Tacheros OFF got a freekick which was hit by Desiderio Txomin. Rigoberto Eyague took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Fernandes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Samuel Raphael charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Samuel Raphael the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 43rd minute, Samuel Raphael hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45thth minute of the game Manuel Fernandes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tacheros OFF's Rigoberto Eyague was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Manuel Fernandes made a kick off. Manuel Fernandes in the 56thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rigoberto Eyague, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Lázaro Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Manuel Fernandes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 61stth minute, Rigoberto Eyague skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A collision led to Tacheros OFF getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. In the 76th minute, Adelino Gama got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Gremio Viana defense, Orlando Joey kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eurico Figueira. The Gremio Viana fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eurico Figueira should have stopped the shot. 86 minutes into the match, Tacheros OFF's goalkeeper Rigoberto Eyague had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manuel Fernandes. Orlando Joey struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Eurico Figueira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tacheros OFF. Manuel Fernandes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Rigoberto Eyague made a huge save.
